Do you have an Etsy blog?

Lots of shopowners on Etsy have blogs, and some of the ones I read are:

http://inthenightkitchen.wordpress.com/
Run by Amy Esther, who makes awesome pottery and also occasionally offers Etsy writing critiques.

http://omglia.blogspot.com/
OMG Lia?'s blog, that even has helpful hints on how to earn more money on the Internet.

The queen of kitschy charm jewelry has a blog full of fun stuff.

If you have a blog, please post the link here!

Etsy Shop Review: Homestudio2

This is a sister shop of Homestudio, and has the same level of customer service and quality product. I ordered a set of six magnets and chose four floral designs, a koi fish and my "Keep Calm" in pomegranate. I love them! They have REALLY strong magnets on the back of the awesome designs, and came in a round metal tin that the magnets stick to (until I decide where to put them on my fridge).

This shop also offers mirrors, and it (and the original Homestudio) proves that a shop doesn't need to have a million different types of items to be successful. They do their specific things (pendants, mirrors, magnets) very well, and have lots of sales to prove it.

PROS: Very fast shipping, great quality and variety
CONS: None!

Etsy Shop Review: Homestudio

Recently, when I was looking at the Etsy Wiki page on Wikipedia, I saw Homestudio on the list of top sellers in the jewelry category. I immediately had to go to their shop to try and find out how and why they sold so much. When I got to the site, I was met with Scrabble pendants and I was puzzled because A) Etsy has tons of jewelry sellers, and B) Etsy has tons of Scrabble pendant sellers.

But a lot of things continued to draw me in. First were the gorgeous pictures, second were the wide variety of pendants, and third were the prices (and the lure of free shipping last week).

So I had to order a "Keep Calm and Carry On" pendant in Pomegranate.

I ordered it on Dec. 28 and it came in the mail less than a week later, in a nice satiny gray pouch. I loved it! It was the first Scrabble pendant I've ever bought but it won't be my last.

Plus, it's a nice reminder to not worry about the small stuff. :)

PROS: Fast shipping, great service, wide variety of pendants
CONS: None!
